Brady POW Camp

German POW that had been captured in the African Campaign. They were composed of 1200 German SS and Gestapo soldiers. The camp shown in the picture above was comprised of 360 acres over which were scatter some 20 buildings involving an investment of $2 million. One of the buildings, the largest, was a 15 bed hospital. The camp capacity was 3000. It remained active throughout the latter half of World War II.
